Kia ora Whaanua, Ko Shauna ahua. I was born here in Aotearoa, was raised in Australia, and have a routine home in Aotearoa to reconnect with my Maaori identity. I am a third-year student currently studying with Te Rito Miaoha and growing and learning every day. I have a passion for teaching our tamariki and aim to watch them grow and learn holistically to be able to reach the fullest of their potential. I love spending time outdoors in nature and exploring the whenua with our tamariki is one of my favorite parts about teaching in early childhood as well as building reciprocal relationships between myself, the tamariki, and the whaanua.
