Kia Ora, my name is Chelsea. I work here part-time at Wise Owl. I love that working with children means every day is unpredictable and different. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts (hons) and am really interested in the creative aspects of working with children. It is always exciting to observe how little ones express themselves creatively – especially with all the twists and turns of the imagination. I love the spontaneous open-minded play tamariki naturally engage in, and try to foster it as much as possible. I find our tamariki inspire my own creative process outside of Wise Owl where I work as an Artist. I primarily work in painting, printmaking and illustration- but I still think crayon drawings are just as fun!
