Hi, I’m Abby.

My journey with Wise Owl first began when my eldest child and middle child attended the centre. After leaving for a time to have my third baby, I found myself drawn back because I loved it here so much — it truly feels like the place I’m meant to be.

I’m really looking forward to experiencing Wise Owl again with my youngest child, and it feels very special to be part of the community both as a parent and as a kaiako.

What I love most about Wise Owl is the way we give children the freedom and time to simply be children within an environment that has been thoughtfully set up for them. As teachers, we work a little harder behind the scenes to create this kind of space — one where learning flows naturally from children’s interests and curiosity.

Wise Owl is a heart-led centre, and our tamariki are always at the heart of everything we do. I feel very well supported by the wonderful team here and feel grateful to be part of such a special place.
